Subtle nose with a little sweetness on the nose. It’s bright, citrus? Interesting palate, a little thin but not bad. Very easy to sip. Not a lot going on with the finish Sample Provided by Agave Swappers for Review
Different flavor profile from a fairly mysterious distillery 1624. Aroma is the best part with some agave, sweet fruit, maybe overripe fruit as well. But there is some funk that I can’t describe. Hmmm. Good though. Taste is ok-good. Some sweet agave but also some bitterness fighting with a sweetness. Finish is ok. I want to visit 1624 and ask lots of questions. Revised one week later: up points in flavor and finish. Also noting greater viscosity. Better this second taste!
Nose agave, minerals, funk, floral, citrus. Not super complex with light aromas Taste agave, minerals, floral, white pepper, citrus, some sweetness
Tried this at Blue spirits in the LA area. Herbal, earthy, minerality, light citrus and pepper. Will have to revisit it
AgaveSwappers 5/12/26 Nose: really pleasant agave, minerality, and citrus. Not much ethanol. Slightly sweet. It’s got that nice Tahona stone smell to it. Iykyk. Palette: leads more toward some pepper and mineral. Wanted a little more natural sweetness from it to balance it out. I think the nose is generally a little better than the taste. A little thin on viscosity. Some baking spices. Cooked agave. Finish: vanishes a bit too quick. Wanted it to linger a bit longer. Not unpleasant though. Mostly pepper finish with some faint notes from the palette. Overall, not bad at $50. Wanted a bit more, but certainly a nice sip at the price point.
Had a quick sample Overly sweet for my palate, not too complex.
