Aroma: Ripe agave, potting soil, and dark ripe fruit. Flavor: Oily mouth feel. Nuttiness, barrel spice, vanilla, caramel and black pepper. Oak and agave are playing nicely together. Older Mexican bottling. 38% ABV. $350 pesos. Pretty tasty. If I’m not mistaken, this is a brand that was blackballed by the US government for cartel involvement.
