“Perfect example of a highland agave! Lots of sweetness, excellent mouthfeel, minerality from the tahona. Super fruity almost a cantaloupe mid pallet. Nice acidity. ”

“Another amazing blanco out of NOM 1123. Citrus, high minerality and juicy sweet agave. Bought this bottle the first day it was on sale at the distillery. Wish I had bought a few more. Some amazing juice, cool label on the bottle as well.”

  • “high intensity and a broad entry. Key compounds evoke butter (diacetyl), black pepper (piperine), and citrus (aldehydes and terpenes), supported by a silky, luminous body indicative of proper fermentation and distillation. The finish is long, with a balanced and evolving aftertaste.”

“Might be a wild take, but my last favorite Ocho expression I've ever had. Way too much bourbon influence. ”

“Añejo Mirrandillas 2024 Fantastic, you taste the agave; you taste the barrel. Quality. Texture. It is a great añejo Tequila. Warm, cozy, but at the same time it feels fresh and Young.”

“AROMA: This opens with a pronounced character of roasted agave, transitioning seamlessly into a deep, iron-tinged minerality that reflects the spirit's terroir. A vibrant essence of fresh orange peel then emerges, providing a bright, citrusy lift that complements the complex structure. Flavor: This unfolds with the rich, baked warmth of roasted agave, immediately layered with the lively spice of cracked black pepper and a persistent, iron-rich minerality. Beneath that, an herbal complexity emerges, intertwined with a bright, zesty essence of fresh orange peel. FINISH: You're left with a deep sweetness from the cooked agave, followed by a kick of black pepper and a cool trace of wet stone and earth. Then come those bright, fresh herbal and citrus notes that linger on your palate, beautifully balanced and always inviting the next sip. ”

“Absolute garbage. Tastes like plastic and chemicals. Undrinkable. Shame on you Kendall Jenner!”

  • “Aroma: Toffee leads the nose with subtle floral notes and a touch of honey. Flavor: The palate opens with light sweetness but ultimately falls flat for me. I was hoping for a little more depth. Finish: Short. A touch of pepper appears before fading into a lingering sweetness. Overall: The nose showed some promise with its toffee, honey, and floral aromas, but the palate lacked the complexity and character I look for in a reposado. The short finish and lingering sweetness left me wanting more. ”

  • “Aroma: I get some citrus with some fresh green notes and light eucalyptus. As it opens, I pick up some floral aromas a little jasmine, along with a clean, perfumed note that reminds me of fresh dryer sheets. Flavor: Cooked agave is present with light minerality. The profile is fairly straightforward, and a subtle sweetness begins to emerge Finish: Short-Medium. Pepper and anise appear first, followed by a lingering sweetness. I also found a medicinal, alcohol-forward, rubber-like note on the finish Overall: While this expression didn’t align with my palate, others who enjoy sweeter or more perfumed profiles may have a different experience. I’ve seen it at $35-$49 ”

“First of all the color is very light on this reposado, which makes sense as it’s only aged for a little over 4 months. Aroma is light with notes of wet cement, alcohol, mushrooms and minerality. The flavor comes across as raw agave and mint. It has a medium-to-long finish of raw agave and white pepper. My guess is the master distiller pulled this off the barrel before picking up too much sweetness from the barrel as I don’t get any oak, vanilla or caramel. In my opinion it would’ve benefited from another month or two in the barrel to balance the raw agave sharpness and round out this reposado. However, if you like your tequila with tons of raw agave and pepper, this one is for you.”
