Had this as part of a food pairing at the distillery. Fruity notes but still kept the agave present. Something different worth trying.

Light on the aroma. Good, sweet agave on the taste. Good heat. Excellent finish with all the good flavors and aromas. Very light touch from the wine cask Bonus points for tasting it while swimming in the Casa Salles hotel pool. Super fun!

Pink copper hue Profile is good but ends in a metallic finish. Great price! Tasted at El Tequileño tasting room. Will come back to add tasting notes…

Golden color. Nice flavor. Agave, mild red wine, oak, mild caramel. Had at the tasting room in Tequila

At 38 abv I’m awaiting lot 2 which will be available here in US at 40abv.

Mexican 35% abv. versión, lote: RO70110423, bottled on 05-10-2023, tasted on 11-20-23. Color: light rose, orange with yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, a mix of red berries: raspberry & strawberry, hibiscus. It has a light metallic aroma that dissipates as time passes, mineral, light citrus, orange peel. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light creaminess but at the end a light metallic note and light wood astringency emerges. Although the alcohol is at 35% but it is present, borderline of being overpowering. Finish is medium, a hint of cooked agave with a hint of red berries, light metallic and wood note persists. At the very end a light vanilla, light orange peel & hibiscus aroma appears.
