“For me this is one of the best bottles I’ve had of 2025 and one you should buy plenty of for the bunker. I ran through 3 bottles of this with friends and family and the question they kept repeating was: “that’s tequila?!” Yeah it’s tequila that has showcased their barrels and found a perfect balance with agave still maintaining its integrity. I seriously think this is one of the best of 2025 and I purchased it for 59.99 which in my honest opinions is a steal. You really need to wrap your head around how great this bottle is. A 90 score for me is rare air and that’s what this is!!! ”

“Batch 2 Barrel 4 Nose: Clean and elegant, showing clear influence from a freshly emptied Jamaican rum cask (filled wet), with notes of molasses, ester-driven tropical fruit, and very light funk layered over cooked agave. Palate: Well-integrated and balanced. The rum cask contributes subtle brown sugar and fermented fruit while preserving agave clarity and varietal character. No cask takeover just controlled secondary influence.”

“I wanted to really like this. Unfortunately it’s not my jam but that’s ok. I’m appreciative of the opportunity to try this as I won a free bottle but this in my opinion isn’t the best of 1414. Reminder that when owners come in to distilleries they ask for a certain profile or work on it to the owners like. Sergio Cruz makes some of my all time favorites so I would say this profile is for a niche group that I’m not a part of. Looks like a good value for about 35 bucks from hi proof in California.”

“Solid juice with limited availability. There are blancos coming out with big budgets and much higher msrp that can’t compete with Polanco. It’s def worth a grab around 50 bucks. Tahona crushed, B corp certified and organic for 50 that’s pretty good ”
