The other day our good friend Mark Alberto Holt, creator of the SFT Tequila Bar in Sayulita, Mexico, stopped by with a very special gift. He had managed to obtain a rare and much-coveted bottle of El Tesoro de Don Felipe 70th Anniversario extra añejo.
Tasted in Chisholm Trail Jarrito Aroma: Sweet Minerally Agave, Oak, Citrus(Candied Orange), Vanilla, Leather, Earthy with a touch of Must. Cherry and other Stone Fruits, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, Deep barrel notes. Taste: Oak, Agave, Black Pepper, Minerals, Leather Orange Zest, Cherry, Mint, Cinnamon, Barrel Spices, Stone Fruit.
