“It’s actually pretty good. Not sure about the price point, I was lucky and grabbed it for $35.”

“A bit pricy, but well crafted tequila is worth it. Best Blanco I’ve had in years. I hope it continues to be made.”

“I was really looking forward to trying this XA. But, sadly, Piedra outshines it by a big margin. Too bad. I think Patron is wasting a good opportunity to excel. Bought it on sale for $60, and I think I wasted my money. Very aromatic, but fell flat on its face. I highly recommend you spend your money on another XA.”

“This almost like drinking a bourbon. Hardly any agave notes. I’m sure that that was the intention of Cuervo. This rating is for The Rolling Stones edition. The finish is actually decent.”

“A bit pricey, but delivers more than other expensive tequilas.”

“Lot 1041. While it’s a huge improvement over the Preiss Imports version, it’s too sweet, unnaturally sweet. Will stick to my regular tequilas.”

“Really enjoyed the strong agave presence. The finish is strong with a mineral lingering in the mouth. I'm sure it makes a great margarita that will knock anyone's socks off. Salud!”

“This is the second lot ($99). It's a blend of 4, 7 and 8 year old tequilas. Much better than its predecessor ($190). Notes of dried fruit, vanilla and nuts. The finish was incredible. ”

“The aroma is very nice, with vanilla and black tea notes . 1942 is so easy on the palate, it's a perfect dessert tequila. Finishes with a strong toffee flavor.”

“It's a rather friendly tequila. Best for people who are new to the scene. Price is the biggest attraction for a blend of tahona and shredder mill tequila. Aromas are a bit muted and flavor is unassuming, but with decent agave presence. It's winner in my book. Probably best for mixed drinks.”

“Lot #12. Bottle 432/490. One of the original seven lots. Aroma is rather mellow. There is still agave flavor, but it seems the aging was not right when bottled. There is a light vinegary taste. Sadly, at the price point offered for this bottle, it is not something I would buy again. Lots 17 and 71 were far superior.”

“This tequila was tasted out of a small snifter. I could pick up some smokiness (probably from the charring of the barrel). I also picked up some citrus in its flavor profile. Its higher proof leaves a nice, light burn on the palate. I bought this bottle on clearance, but its retail price is out of my range. Still, I'd recommend it just to try a 100% tahona milled tequila, as there are not that many out there.”
