Nose is bright agave, peppery, raw earth or light rubber notes, bery nice Pallet is bright agave, pepper, spice, herbal, silky, tasty
Tasted blind at Dustin’s Fuerte Fiesta! I will revisit when I have more time to spend with it. Very good all around but a bit one dimensional for me. Yes lots of agave and some nice heat.
Excellent blanco from a legendary producer. Really enjoyed this one
Nose: Agave, green olive, salt, minerals, cement, mint and lime rind Palate: Cooked agave, stone (tahona notes), mint and is a bit spicy (jalapeño). Delicious! Finish: Some nice heat with black pepper that heats up the gums nicely. Tried it against the 48 abv Gallo version and I liked this one more!
Beautiful agave nose. You can smell it pouring it into the glass. Palate is a bit quick and the finish has a slightly bitter but long pepper finish. I definitely enjoy the finish on this. This is nice
Not overly complex, but extremely satisfying blanco with cooked agave, black pepper, and a slight sweetness on the finish with a little anise. Can’t go wrong with 7L.
Truly top tier blanco, to my taste it is better than the 7 decadas. It has more green flavors compared to regular siete leguas but the agave and minerality is amped. For beginners the proof may seem a bit harsh at the beginning compared to other tequilas but it is easy to get your palate used to it.
Aroma: 23 Sweet cool cooked agave with a vegetal punch. Grassy, green, olive with black pepper spice and cinnamon. Mild fruity undertones of dried cherry and strawberry. Palate: 27 Very nice silky texture and mouth feel. Front palate is very sweet layer agave and vanilla. Smoothly blends into pepper spice in the mid. Fruity spice with a kick at the tail end. Finish: 23 Finish is long and generally pleasant. Lots of pepper spice with mild fruity in the background. Is a little hot at first and then turns into a pleasant warming feeling. Value: 6 $82 bottle in San Francisco. Fantastic quality. $82 is a bit higher than I expected and would like but I will get another bottle when I finish my current one.
Wow this one has a lot going on. This is such an easy sipper for a still strength with bold aromas and flavors. Nose: cooked agave, earth, grass, black pepper, citrus, cinnamon, vegetal, and some brine. Palate: cooked agave, black pepper, cinnamon, citrus, vegetal, and brine. Such a great sipper that has a nice finish that lingers of cinnamon and brine. No burn at all. Extra points for the price point.
Tasted at Siete Leagus. Same base as standard 7L but Still Strength The nose I can smell the fibers. A little astringent on the nose. Alcohol On the palate this is very nice. Sweet agave, cinnamon, buttery Good finish
Powerful and Priced incredibly!
Adjusting my rating upward a little after my 2nd try. I’m loving it! Loads of agave, minerality, some mint, anise and pepper. I do believe this may be my favorite Siete Leguas expression ever! I'm absolutely loving it!
Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Grass, Mint, Anise, Minerality, Citrus Palate: Earthy, Pepper, Grass Finish: Orange, Stonefruit, Agave This definitely kicks the standard agave up a notch. I got less of the minerality than the original has but more citrus and vegetal notes throughout. Glad to see Siete Leguas bless us with this fine new addition to the line up!
Nice to see this at a most reasonable price. Agave, earth, a ton of natural sweetness and so easy to sip. I find something new each time I taste this 7L 47 Blanco. This to me, is likely the best Blanco NOM 1120 has ever released and for me that says something as the brand is older than I am, barely.
Wow, really nice. Opened and poured three glasses, as I was enjoying it that much! Cooked agave, earthiness, minerals, cut grass and some fruitiness on nose and palate. Does not taste like a 47!
Nose: cooked agave, earth, minerals, pepper, cinnamon, brine, citrus, vegetal, fruit, Palate: sweet cooked agave, tropical fruits, pepper, citrus, cinnamon, vegetal, minerals, brine,
Strong agave with a long finish. Totally different flavor than 80 proof Siete. Good stuff.
Lots of cooked agave, earthiness, floral and mineral notes. Pear, a bit of mint and citrics.
The 47% ABV puts this in the range that I wish more tequila brands would produce. The nose provides a beautiful combination of agave, cinnamon, citrus, mint, and earthiness. The palate is rich and absolutely lives up to the nose. The finish brings a delicious warmth of baking spices. Where it takes a hit is in the value category. I managed to find it online (it's not available at stores in my area) for $70 for a 700 mL bottle. This makes it more expensive than most of the scotches in the 46% to 50% ABV range that I really enjoy.
L01-47/24 171224 Nose: brine Taste: sweet agave, white pepper Finish: sweet agave, white pepper
Seite leguas with a great high proof, lots of Agave, nice pepper, and minerals. Enjoying this expression.
Lot L01-47/22 15/12/24 Aroma: tons of juicy baked agave with some peppery and clove notes as well as a touch of honey and toffee Flavor: more spicy with cinnamon added to what I smelled, some sweetness, and a slight green or grassy bitterness Mouthfeel: light body and very dry with a touch of alcohol burn in the middle of my tongue Finish: the slight alcohol burn along with the spice and bitterness linger and then finally finishes lightly sugary sweet, but not a terribly long finish. Color: clear This is not a bad high proof Blanco, but not particularly a standout for me.
Agave and earthy aroma. Strong agave, spice and earthiness in the flavor. Spicy but smooth finish.
The creamy texture with the cooked Agave is a outstanding combo. Along with citrus notes I get almost a cream soda note on the backend. This one hit it out of the park.

N- Green agave, grass, brine, very vegetal, a little citrus T- Cooked agave, peppery heat but surprisingly mellow considering the proof, the vegetal notes and the herbs are standouts here MF- thin and dry F- a little tingling heat and a long grassy finish V- $60/700ml in Michigan makes this a pretty good value for what you get Overall I am absolutely in love with this. I love notes of brine and grass and this fits the bill
