Tequila Cambio Blanco
“Soft nose. Earthy with a hint of lactic-funk and some alcohol. Off-white in the glass with great tear adhesion. Silky / creamy smooth mouthfeel - highlight of the experience for me. Mildly sweet on the palate before turning sharply citrusy - bitter grapefruit and baking spices. The finish is oily, long and warm deep in the throat. Extra points for value.”

1800 Coconut Blanco
“Brought this home by request - wife wanted a “Coconut Margarita”. I figured I’d taste a bit… Coco-nutty in the nose! But there is also a funky chemical odor underneath. Clear in the glass with good tear adhesion. Artificially sweet A bit of an astringency in the quick finish. It is not as awful as I had anticipated. Not a sipper for a tequila fan, but might work for the Rumplemintz crowd. Makes a nice coconut margarita. ;)”

Cascahuín Destino
“Super light nose…. Grassy, some mint and cement. Bright and clear in the glass with light tear adhesion. Creamy thick mouthfeel. Amazing flavors on the palate - sweet agave, mild black pepper, grapefruit, mint, vegetal tones. Drinks much lower than expected given its high proof (98). Finish is mildly tingly, oily and long. Real nice.”

“Great nose! Strong agave and caramel notes, as well as vanilla and oak. Deep straw color and nice tear adhesion in the glass. Very thin mouthfeel. Sweet on the palate with a mild whiskey character that doesn’t overpower the agave. Well balanced. Warmth builds through the long finish. Very nice.”

Patrón 100 Silver
“Soft nose with hints of earth, cement, grass and citrus. Not as bright in the glass as I was hoping for. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet agave upfront, with cinnamon-pepper, mint and citrus tones. Finish is long and satisfying - until it turns a wee-bit harsh.”

“Nose leads with strong citrus as well as earth, vegetal, grass, cement and agave notes. Bright and clear in the glass with nice tear adhesion. Thick creamy mouthfeel. Sweet and peppery bite with strong citrus grapefruit on the palate. Finish is pleasantly long and sizzling. Not bad at all but I preferred the first batch compared to this 2025 bottle.”
