Barrel #1 Lot 1 2018
This is beautiful, bottled in 2014. It has agave, the wonderful oak notes without being overpowering or overoaked like other XAs. Even smelling an empty glass is a treat.
An unbelievable amount of agave, oak, caramel, & spices on the nose & taste. Very viscous & long finish. This is the best XA I’ve had, bottled in 2014
MY HOLY GRAIL - 2014 (barrel 25) -43.2abv-single barrel/single proof. Nose- oak, sweet whiskey, tea, dried fruit, caramel, leather, light smoke. Taste- oak. sweet whiskey, caramel, smoke, leather, fruit, light alc, tea. Can't say enough.
Very nice barrel proof XA definitely a must have. Lot 1 @ 42.66%

Lots of caramel, vanilla, oak in the nose. Some citrus/apple notes similar to Don Pilar. A little thin on the body. In the between a bourbon and ET70th a little. A little pricey but all around solid.

A bright and bold extra Añejo with a wonderful balance of agave, oak, and fruit. Nose: Cooked Agave, Caramel, Vanilla, Peaches, Apricots, Melons, Mangoes Palate: Cooked Agave, Cinnamon, Oranges, Vanilla, Cherries, Toasted Almonds, Licorice Finish: Cooked Agave, Caramel, Anise, Honey, Vanilla, Mangoes

Nose: butterscotch and hints of vanilla and caramel. Taste: Agave, butterscotch...smooth.
Aroma: Nutty, Vanilla, Caramel, faint Orange Peel. Taste: Vanilla, Caramel, Sweet Sugar Cane, Some Oak (gives it a little bitterness & spiciness)...medium bodied with a somewhat long finish. Overall: this is a delicious tequila no doubt. Because I don't prefer much oak in my tequilas, I prefer the Siembra Azul Suro XA.
Complex, fantastic nose, superb finish. Better than Tapatio excellencia

2014 single barrel #25 at 43.2ABV The nose alone is amazing, the length and finish is amazing. This is a once in a life time XA. A unicorn for sure. Thank you Lou for sharing
