Sampled at Binny’s All Things Agave, June 2026. Glad I got to try this one, it’s legit. Not terribly complex, but an extreme value for a clean tahona crushed still strength agave profile for $49.99 by me. I’d be happy to see this widely available on bar shelves so I can have some better cocktails made when at non-agave bars.
Aroma: 22/25 Sweet caramelized agave up front with an earthy, vegetal backbone. Dense and thick on the nose, almost syrupy. Cooked agave sweetness mingles with damp soil and roasted vegetables. Palate: 25/30 Medium-bodied with a noticeable spicy kick. Black pepper dominates, with a peppery bite that builds through the mid-palate. Less sweet than the nose suggests, more savory and assertive. Finish: 21/25 Value: 8/10 Overall: A solid pour from Patron’s new 100 Silver. The nose promises richness and the palate delivers heat and structure. Not a sipper that hides behind sweetness. Would buy again.
The nose is weak or neutral. It has some decent flavors though it’s not agave forward. A decent high proof for $50.
Impressed by this Patron release. Didn't expect that. Nice minerality, citrus, lime, pear. And enough agave to convince anybody it's legit. Nose matches palate nicely. A bit on the thin side, but a great Blanco at a great price. I found it a bit better than Lalo. which i found decent. At least I know every mediocre bar will carry this. So it works for me.
High-proof, tahona-crushed blancos are my lane, and this one can definitely hang. Bright citrus up front, that classic clean Patrón profile, plus some minerality and a cool chalky/coco powder thing going on that I actually really liked. A nice medium finish with some salinity. Overall, this is well done and feels like a smart move by Patron to bring some aficionados back in after killing off the Roca line. For around $50 it’s really good value and I’d definitely drink it again.
Nose: Sweet and raw agave comes through right away, backed by a clear vegetal note that keeps it from leaning too soft. There’s a light minerality underneath, with a fresh lift of mint that keeps the nose feeling open and lively. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium full in texture, with a round, coating feel that carries the flavors well. Sweet agave leads, but it’s fuller here, moving into bright citrus and a touch of salinity that reads like salted butter. The minerality stays consistent, while mint and green herbal notes build alongside a slightly raw vegetal character that gives it shape. Finish: Clean and steady, with lingering sweet agave and a soft salted butter note that fades without much weight. Final Thoughts: This leans into the old school Roca Patrón profile: agave forward, a little raw, wet stone, lots of citrus, and not overly dressed up. It’s a solid reminder that Patrón is still capable of putting out quality releases. At around $45, it’s a genuine bargain for what it delivers.
This is good! Once it opens up its even better. Really good nose that follows through on taste with tons of agave and minerals. Very oily mouthfeel with a nice earthy cinnamon finish. For sure my favorite of the Patron line so far!
Nose is nice creamy agave, sweet all around, great mouth feel, awesome finish, wow well done patron ! Pallet is same notes, such great sipper, peppery, sweet awesome
While this is a decent tequila at the price point it just seems a bit soft for me. I was hoping for more complexity and rich bold flavors.
Clean nose. Cooked agave upfront. Nice long finish. Color me surprised.
This high proof needs to open up at first, nice mouth feel, cooked agave, light pepper, lemon citrus notes. Patron did a great job here.
Bottle: L26040PA300 0709, LOTE BTH 0126 Appearance: Clear Nose: Cooked and raw agave, citrus, Bergamot orange, lemon, lime, black tea, minerality, petrichor, cultured butter, wet and dry earth, vegetal, fire-grilled artichoke, fresh cut grass, brine/salinity, black and white pepper, and olive…holy smokes, I wasn’t expecting that Palate: Cooked and raw agave, black and white pepper, brine/salinity, olive, minerality, cultured butter, buckwheat honey, cinnamon, citrus, grapefruit pith, alcohol, vegetal, fire-grilled artichoke, bell pepper, herbal, thyme, anise, and fennel…enjoyably herbal with bitter and sweet notes superbly balanced Finish: Alcohol, brine/salinity, vegetal, and dry earth…long and warming with a seriously thick and oily mouthfeel Overall: This one really took me by surprise, in a wonderful way. There’s so much more complexity compared to their previous Roca release and the alcohol feels far more tame despite the even higher proof. There’s solid continuity of agave and citrus between the nose and palate, while simultaneously evolving to include dry herbs and a complex sweetness. Throw in some nutty/buttery notes, some dominant fire-grilled artichoke, and an absurdly low price point and the result is a spirit that really deserves some attention.
The nose is a bit muted at first, so give this time to open up before getting serious. Aroma, when it comes, is minerals, earth, citrus, black pepper, and caramelized agave. Flavor has cooked agave and some earth. Finish is fairly long and might be the best part of this. Patrón deserves credit for releasing a product like this, but after drinking this for a while I realize that it could have been a whole lot more. After drinking so many high proof blancos recently, I came back and revised this review. It drinks like a "safe" high proof, lacking much in the way of complexity and depth that I've come to expect with this type of product. (This is not a paid review, and I purchased the bottle in a random retail store. Just making that clear.)
Clean agave, salty limes and black pepper, medium burn but not unpleasant, really solid high proof offering. Patron delivers!
nose: light agave, lemongrass, green pepper. palate: agave, black pepper, strong minerality, lemon, grapefruit, ethanol, anise and butter. unbalanced. the ethanol overpowers. it's a good price for a hp but if I'm going to have a patron product, I'd pick a different one.
Just a little too potent on the finish for me, nice tasting notes but not sure I’d come back to this specific Patron
6/29/26: Aroma: not much going on here for a high proof. Some wet concrete some minerality Taste: chewy dry some sweetness on the back end Finish: some heat and tingle and more dryness - I like it not bad Patron
Initial impressions: a very solid blanco high proof that I am going to do a side by side tasting with the Roca Patron blanco in the coming days. Will report on those comparisons shortly.
It is a great simple tequila, as it only has 3 ingredients. Agave, water and yeast NO additives or cane alcohol. I was very impressed by just the note of agave which I am just fine with. And surprisingly smooth for 100 proof. 2 thumbs up to Patron for this. Hope is stays on the production line for many moons to came!
$52
Lote BTH 0126 Aroma is right on Quintessential Patron’ Citrus, Spice, Minerality, very strong odor. Not in a bad Way but very prominent in the room upon opening bottle. I’ve let it sit in my glass for last 10 minutes to air out. Short legs , lots of tears in the glass. Very familiar flavor, spicy, sweet, anise, short finish. It definitely has that patron base. Good solid hp. Nice to see Patron step out of the comfort zone of mass production and branch into the additive free world. I know some will argue the rest of line is AF but it’s a hard sell. But this HP is good
Nose: Bold and vegetal. Cooked agave, citrus zest, white pepper, light herbs. Palate: Sweet agave and bright citrus up front then black pepper, raw honey, mint, and a noticeable oily richness that the 80 proof blanco never delivers. Minerality throughout. Finish: Long and warm. White pepper heat, lingering citrus peel, clean agave sweetness fading without any harshness. Overall: This is Patron making a case to the aficionado cowd. The tahona only production and full proof bottling do exactly what they’re supposed to. Not the most complex high proof blanco out there but well executed and fairly priced. Worth keeping behind the bar.
A burst of baked agave, spice and dried fruits off the glass. The swirl of fruity notes triggers the redolence of ripe persimmons that wash away the rest. Caramel, chocolate and cherry finish the parade on the back end. The first sip holds that bouqeut of baked agave and ripe fruit like a crate of over ripe peaches sitting in the sun. But chocolate is the star that dominates from front to back, that starts and finishes in a flash of a 100 proof heat. Thick and astringent mouth feel and a quick burn no finish. You’re left with just a tingle on your tongue with a tinge of that slightly bitter chocholate and cherry. It's whispering, ‘that was fantastic, Let's have another’. You won’t find a better Tequila for 42 bucks .
Agave, Minerals, spices, & citrus Aroma: 22 Taste: 27 Finish: 21 medium finish Value: 8 Overall: 87 $48 Total Wine. Reminds me of Patron Roca. Definitely drink again & recommend. Great Artisanal tequila but after drinking quality tequila (Fortaleza, G4, Arette) I moving taste 26 I just had Patron 100 next to LALO. Patron 100 is so much more complex and superior. I hope Patron keeps this and experiments with aging.

Sampled at Binnys All Things Agave. I was hesitant at 1st to buy but this is the real deal. Aroma and flavors you get strong cooked agave and creamy finish. Light finish but Patron definitely delivers on this release. Will definitely pick this up.
