Roasted agave, baking spices on the nose, the wood notes dominate on the palate, some vanilla, caramel, and fruity notes. This is definitely a barrel rested tequila.

So far, this is my favorite symphony series drop from Mijenta. Mijenta has a unique profile, and I have grown to really enjoy it. They did a great job balancing the multiple different types of woods from across the US and kept the agave at the forefront. It is balanced very well! If you enjoy Mijenta, then you should definitely try this one. Great job to the team!

This one has a little heat a first, then after about 5mins she opens up and then you have a long velvety finish with some spice, fruit and a hint of butterscotch. Agave is there and the finish has some good hang time. Balanced and pretty doggone good! Clean, crisp and keeps you coming back for more. Is a rebuy for sure.

It's good but didn't blow me away. Maybe expecting too much since their Gran Reserva is one of my favorite añejos. I mean, an 87 is still a great score in my book, I guess I just figured it would be higher.

Agave stands out on this high proof añejo. Fragrant barrel notes. Refreshing medium finish.

This is a wonderful tequila! I consider the price to be average for an anejo of this quality ($114 at OTT). I wish I was better at describing the flavors I'm detecting, but I'm not, I just know I really like it!
