“Nose : Vanilla , butterscotch , oak , fruity , Taste : Anise heavy into a woody oak , cinammon , body it softens up into a fruity taste with a peppery spicy finish . Not a huge fan of anise heavy tequilas so it loses some points from me there . ”

“Nose : cherry , baking spices , wine , fruity Taste : Strong Anise start into a peppery terroir and minerality , the volcanic spring water comes through in the body and surprisingly finishes sweet sherry cask and wine . Surprising taste compared to the smell … a bit overpriced in my opinion . ”

“Nose : oak , fruity , almond , cinammon , vanilla , butterscotch Taste : Initially very fruity and sweet , pear/peach/cherry , goes into a cinammon and vanilla with a middle “bite” of alcohol , with a very slight agave taste , finishes oaky and sweet/smooth all the way through . The sweetness was slightly medicinal which may indicate an altered sweetness but it’s very difficult to differentiate . ”

“Nose : Floral , citrus , brine , minerality , alcohol Taste : Initial sweet salty tangy , minty minerality , goes down very sweet warm and smooth and then turns into a briny vegetal agave bomb with a strong burn finish in the back of the throat that lingers , loved the nose and body but the finish was a bit rough which knocked it down a bit for me .”

“Nose : Fruity ,cooked agave , charred oak , sweet vanilla , butterscotch , honey , minerality Taste : Amazing minerality that blends perfectly with a light and not overdone oakiness , which moves into a sweet honey vanilla and peppery flavor and finishes with a slight terroir/ volcanic finish as advertised . Amazing juice !!!very surprised you can still find this on the shelves , definitely loses points for the price but worth every penny in my opinion . Stocked up on a few of these while still available … Late review I tried this about a year prior and revisited ”

“Nose : Very floral , citrus, agave , cherry , green apple , well water smell , sweet subdued oak Taste : Sweet citrusy floral initial taste which transitions into a bourbon oak body , leather and tobacco with a smooth well water roasted cherry finish and a lingering smoky taste . Not as complex as other XA loses points on price 150-160 as of 2025 , but still a very traditionally well made product . ”
