Mexican 1 liter 35% abv. version, round glass bottle with a golden color plastic twist cap, front and rear labels are green, lote: 08/LOTE/001, bottled on 22/02/07, tasted on 11-23-24. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, light green vegetal notes, light acidity, light citrus, orange and lime aromas are quite intense, I read online that Campari bought destilería San Nicolás where this tequila was produced on November 2008, after this tequila was bottled, so I will give it the benefit of doubt, also because I like the Corazon de agave produced in this same distillery around the same. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, light aromatic green vegetal & citrus notes through my retronasal. Finish is medium, light cooked agave with light citrus, light green vegetal notes with orange & lime persists but not too long.
