There are some off notes, sweetness smelling like vanilla additives but doesn't have a cloying effect. it has some oak and drying effects. It's fine.

Superb aroma...floral, Caribbean fruit and honey notes. The flavor is rather complex, but a must experience for any tequila snob. The finish is sweet, with strong aged oak from beginning to end.
Unlike the other expressions this XA lacks an organic certification. Nice spice from the barrel and 3 plus years aging, some agave is still present and blends well with the oak and caramel.
