Right off the hop this smells amazing, the rich aromas of cognac have mingled perfectly with the tequila. I catch a brief glimpse of agave before the harshness and bitter qualities of the Limousine oak come storming into the picture, it finishes quite spicy and boozy. It’s an expensive cocktail but I suspect that using this to make an Old Fashioned would be just about the perfect arrangement.
