I have kept an eye out for older NOM 1433 Tequila Quiote products after trying the Calle 23 Criollo produced in the same distillery, and this is an older bottle of Tequila Perrísimo Reposado, Mexican 40% abv. version, LOTE No. 08-99, so, maybe bottled in 1999, it has blue color front and rear labels, tasting it for my rating number 1433, same as this distillery’s NOM on 7-12-25. Color: very light yellow, almost transparent like a blanco. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light acidity, hint of citrus, hint of fruitiness, a tad of sour sensation in a pleasant way, after 20 minutes in the glass the cooked agave note becomes slightly sweeter. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of pepper spiciness, good sweet and citrus balance and at the end it is a tad sour. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of citrus and fruitiness with light pepper spiciness persists.
