There are extra añejos. And there are EXTRA añejos. They have taking this to another level. The hint of spice and cinnamon in a whisky aged barrel. Bold in taste confirms the maturity of the agave. Definitely a show stopper. Cheers!!!

I re-tasted this tequila tonight and my original review may have been a little harsh (4). It doesn’t suck, but there are so many better tequilas out there. I’m hoping that the owners and distillers rethink what they do, and tweak their recipe to better reflect what I think they are trying to achieve. All tequilas deserve a chance to be tasted, try this one and see if I’m wrong.
It has a kick, but that is what real tequila should taste! Smooth but still flavorful.
