NOM 1614 | This has a lot of agave and citrus on the nose. The predominant citrus I get is lime and then orange. I also get a bit of black pepper. On the palate, I get agave and then black pepper. The citrus also comes through on the tongue. It is earthy with a little brine. This is a very good value tequila. I think I heard where it is disappearing. If you find it. Grab some if it is under 40.
Aroma of cooked agave, citrus, a hint of black pepper and alcohol (the bottle was just opened). Flavor of cooked agave, black pepper, herbal and citrus. It had a nice medium finish. The price is very reasonable.
NOM 1614 | Nose is earthy, agave, baking spice, very herbal, pallet is same, has a rare raw meat note that is interesting, almost like a jerky/slim jim, even some wet concrete notes, very good value for sub $40, highly recommended.
Aroma: This has a lot of cooked Agave right out the gate. There is an abundance of Anise and Herbs on the nose. Also present is a very nice vegetal quality that pairs with the Earthy aromas. Citrus and Cinnamon mingle in the background with a slight fruitiness. Taste: Agave and Pepper greet you on initial taste. Not aggressive pepper, but you know it's there. The Vegetal and Earthiness from the nose are definitely here too. This mixes with a little salty Brine/Olive taste. The Anise and Herbs from the aroma are muted from the rest of the tastes. And this is rounded out with the Citrus and Light Cinnamon Notes Finish: The cooked Agave and Pepper linger with the Vegetal and Earthiness as this takes on a nice long finish. Salud! TMM 85
This one gets better the more it sits and opens up. Good cooked agave baking spices up front. With loads of citrus(lime), herbal and slightly floral on the pallet. With a citrus orange peal-esk type notes, this one will take you on a different ride but still nice.
Believe the hype. This one is outstanding for the price! Roasted agave on the nose, lots of anise, fruity and delicate herbal and banana notes, a little cinnamon. This one is a winner through and through. I haven't had the previous release but this one from 1614 stays in the conversation, and even possibly tops the list of best blancos under 40$.
It reminds me so much of a Caballito Cerrero, not as complex but for the price the experience is pretty close. I’ll be purchasing more for sure.
NOM 1614 Aroma: cooked agave, light pepper, citrus - orange mostly, some herbal and vegetal notes. Flavor: cooked agave, orange, brine, cinnamon, herbal Tasted at Bowl of Zole fest 2023
NOM 1522 | Aroma: cooked agave, some very nice minerality, black pepper, lime, Palate: sweet, cooked agave, black pepper and pleasant coating of the mouth Finish: controlled heat, long finish, and nice lingering agave on the finish NOM 1522
Nice pepper and agave on the palate and the finish adds a bit of funk as the ethanol fades
NOM 1614
NOM 1522 | Balanced blanco, with good citrus and agave notes. Light pepper and spice
NOM 1522 | I really enjoyed this tequila. I was surprised to learn it is high-pressure autoclave!!!
NOM 1522 | Pleasantly surprised. Chewy agave, citrus. herbal, mint, floral, with a slight hint of smoke. Bonus points for being a great budget friendly daily sipper.
NOM 1522 | (Re-evaluated 1 point lower from my video review, due to price). One of the better autoclave tequila'ls. It has a lot of herbal, and earthy notes, along with some sweeter, lighter notes. Overall a tasty tequila.
NOM 1522 | On the nose, cooked agave. Some ethanol, and then a citrus note. A little bit of fruit. On the palate, lots of cooked agave. It gives way to some pepper and cinnamon. It’s earthy, with some fruity notes. Almost a little bit of vanilla. Definitely brine as it opens up Overall, pretty good. It’s not one of my favorites, but this is really quite good, I’d not turn down a pour.
NOM 1522 | Aroma/Flavor: Cooked agave, grass, tropical fruits Sweet citrus & sweet mint. (Aroma = taste) White pepper (easy to sip), Really enjoyed it and great price too! Surprised it was an autoclave expression (found out after) Will revisit to add more notes
NOM 1522 | Nose: An appealing nose. First aromas are of baked pineapple drizzled with hot butterscotch topping. Cut grass, raw green pepper and mint. Mexican oregano, citrus and white pepper. Flavor: Buttery, deeply caramelized agave opulence. Fruity. Sweet and salty, with pleasantly potent pepper, unwaveringly creeping up the Scoville scale, and then ramping back down . Oily and palate pleasing body. Some almond, vanilla bean, cinnamon and anise nuances as last impressions fade. A tiny bit of sulfur?
NOM 1522 | First aromas of vegetal notes and black pepper that open up to cooked agave and cinnamon. It has a nice oily mouthfeel, tastes earthy with a little spice on the finish. Balanced sweetness and spice.
NOM 1522 | Black pepper, citrus, cinnamon, and cooked agave aromas. Agave and pepper flavor. Nice gentle sweet finish.
NOM 1614 | Huge cooked agave aroma with just a touch of white pepper. Sweet agave and floral notes dominate the palate, backed by smooth peppery heat and almost no alcohol bite. Long, complex, and deeply satisfying finish. Easily one of the best blancos I’ve had so far. Buy this one ASAP!
Aroma is kinda flat. Smells like tequila, haha. Taste, Simple but quite good. Cooked agave, a bit of citrus and pepper. I almost want to say a hint of cinnamon. a great value at $17 price point. I found this at Grocery Outlet and when I noticed it came from NOM 1614 it was an easy purchase. Not very complex. I mainly used it for mixing but it is good enough to sip. But again, not very complex. Finishes surprisingly clean.
NOM 1614 | Cooked agave, light black pepper, and mild citrus throughout. A very easy tequila. Not highly complex but very good for any occasion or people of different tequila appreciation. I found this for 16.95 at Grocery Outlet. After tasting it I went back and bought 2 more bottles for some of my beginner friends.

NOM 1614 | Little bit musty but clean agave on the nose. After opening, the nose has some citrus to it. Palate is clean with a touch of sweetness. Not overly complex but an enjoyable sipper
