Compoveda sample free from sip tequila with purchase 7/2025. 100 ml sample NOM 1414 Batch info: CVBC02233 174455 25/07/22 My notes are different from other reviews. could be the lote. Blanco 40 abv Nose: first sniff I got fresh bread cooking in the oven! Yeast! In a good way. And some herb i can't pinpoint. I like it. Very unique. Then I got floral notes, pepper and some citrus. Palate: sweet agave and mild pepper with some minerality and citrus Finish: is medium warm, sweet with spice Other Notes: sipping out of a riedel. Nice legs, medium viscosity Overall: I enjoyed this. Nice, easy sipper. hubby liked it too.
Although I didn’t detect any additives in this blanco, this expression is very much on the sweet side. The nose had a mellow agave and vanilla aroma. On the palate, I found cooked agave along with floral notes and grass on the back palate. The viscosity is on the thinner side here, and finish mid range. The sweetness is a detriment to this expression, it hamstrung the punch from the mid palate & finish. For me, “smoothness” doesn’t translate to fantastic tequila and although I can taste quality here, it is unfortunately marred by how heavy handed the sweetness is with this blanco from Compoveda.
This is a perfect into bottle! It’s light on aroma some cooked agave and a floral sweetness. Front of the tongue has agave fresh grass and minerarallity . It has a very light chew and an easy mouth feel. Finish is not complex, bright and smooth with hints of flavor. An excellent why to introduce someone to Tequila and Agave spirits
Pretty Good Tequila but has a hard finish. Kills the want to recommend or drink again hurting the overall score. I will finish the bottle!
NOM 1414
Got notes of raw potato, spicy greens, pineapple, hint medicinal, and a fried oil note. It has other familiar 1414 blanco notes. Pretty good.
Mild on the nose herbs, a little floral light pepper, light citrus, not real heavy on agave but good On the pallet, you get some sweet agave very light pepper light Miral light citrus Finishes warm, not real long a bit sweet touch of spice Pretty well balanced, absolutely easy zipper I think a lot of people like this. Ivy is there for Blanco. It’s not real intense, but I like it.
BOTELLA: 1481 RESERVA: 01
Fruit forward for sure. A tad sharp compared to what I imagined. Even still, this is a sipper unless you've got money to burn.
Nose: Clean and bright on the nose. Good agave notes and some citrus with a good amount of minerality. Taste: Roasted agave and black pepper. Complex. A little salinity which made me salivate which is always appreciated. Finish lingers and coats the tongue excellently.
Over all great tasting with a slight smoky Mezcal like finish.
Lots of smoke, some spice. Ok finish.
Out of the bottle: slight agave but otherwise quiet Nose: developed with air, slight agave with underlying hints of? Pear, pineapple. Will come back to this bottle to better understand what mores in this! Taste: soft to the palate with a slight bite later on, Finish: goes extremely well with a full bodied guacamole, garlic, red onions and lime juice. Thoughts: agree with others that out of the bottle not overwhelming, but like other varieties, time often develops a joyous outcome!
Sweet nose with light citrus note. Medium body, some ABV & drawing blank. just alcohol. Ice helps but regardless/otherwise don't like it.
Compoveda Blanco Lot 1: Bottle 331 A unique blanco that will surely find a following. The nose is nearly imperceptible. The agave is overpowered by the floral and fruit. A lingering bitterness in the taste carries through to the finish. At $55 (Sip Tequila), this is priced to compete with the likes of Fortaleza or El Tequilino, yet fails to live up to that standard. Nose: Delicate and fresh. Geranium, white peach, lemon citrus up front. Traces of fresh agave, mint, and jasmine. Taste: Soft on the tongue, but there us an immediate slight bitterness like you might find in artificial sweetners. There is a white peppery warmth slowly builds. Its definitely floral and fruit forward like the nose, but they overpower the agave. Faint hints of mint. Finish: There is a tart-bitternes of powdered lemonade that over shadows. The white pepper warmth pleasingly lingers for a long finish.

Nose: Cooked agave sets the tone, followed by bright citrus and a soft tropical fruit note that adds a touch of lift. Herbaceous elements keep it grounded, with a light mineral edge and a hint of rock candy sweetness tying it together. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium viscosity on the palate. Cooked agave leads, quickly joined by a firm hit of cinnamon and black pepper. Salted butter adds a subtle richness, while citrus and minerals keep things balanced and focused. The flavors arrive clearly and stay linear. Finish: Cinnamon, herbs, and mineral notes carry through, fading out short and clean without lingering weight.
