Nose: Minerals, agave, mint, lemon zest, butter, salt Palate: Light mouth feel, black pepper, cooked agave, minerality, brine and anise Finish: Relaxed finish with tingle on the gums. This would be incredible if it was an HP. Good start here…

Another balanced blanco coming from 1123 and Chava. I was hoping to get a little more out of this blanco, since I love the did cement fermentation and a combo of Tahona and roller mill. Found the aromas to be pleasing, it fell a little flat on the finish for me.

Super clean agave forward long finish agave mint white pepper. Citrus lime dry not as much earthiness or vegetal as normally from 1123. Still balanced clean long agave light white pepper green pepper Love it

Nose: Agave and mint, but subtle. Palate: raw and cooked agave followed by citrus! Lime and grapefruit. Good amount of Mint! Pepper, mineral, grassy. Good balance, but prefer more sweet agave. Finish: short to medium. Overall, for the price, I’d buy something else from this Nom, but it’s not bad at all! Bought a pour at Playa Mesa, Costa Mesa, Ca

Tasted in Chisholm Trail Jarrito. Very Viscous in the glass. Aroma: Nice Clean Sweet Cooked Agave, Green Bell Pepper, Minty, Minerals, Herbal, Fruity, Green Tea, Cinnamon, Floral Taste: Sweet Cooked Agave, Black Pepper/Cinnamon, Anise, Citrus, Herbal, Minty, Minerals, Grass, Brine, Fruit and Bell Pepper. Excellent mouth feel! This is a very clean pour. If you didn't know this was from 1123, it doesn't have a similar profile to any other Tequilas produced there. The traditional petrichor in many of the offerings isn't there. Still very delicious. In a blind, I don't know if I'd be able to pick up any of its pedigree.

LOTE 409, bottled on 010823, tasted on 10-5-23. Aroma: slight sweet cooked agave, crisp clean green notes, slightly minty, slight acidity, aromatic herbs, good sweet sour & acidic balance. After 30 minutes in the glass I feel that the aromas perceived are stronger. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, anise note emerges and herbal aromas are quite aromatic. Finish is medium to medium long, sweet cooked agave with aromatic herb notes persist.
