Nose: Cooked and raw agave sit side by side, pulling in jalapeño, a bit of earth, and a light mineral edge. There’s a touch of malolactic funk that gives the profile some character, wrapped in fresh vegetal tones that keep everything feeling alive and direct. Palate & Mouthfeel: The viscosity stays on the lighter side - despite the chatter about this being thick, it doesn’t land that way for me. It opens clean and quick with sweet agave and jalapeño pepper, carried by that same fresh veg brightness. A hint of anise surfaces as it moves, sharpened by a lively streak of citrus that keeps the pace energetic. Finish: The sweet and spicy interplay hangs on, with the pepper lingering and lighting up the palate in a steady, tingling way. It’s a finish that stays active without overstaying. Final Thoughts: Give this one a little air and it settles into a layered, expressive HP blanco. A very solid showing, and one that rewards patience with depth and flavor.

Give this one a few minutes to open—once the alcohol blows off, it absolutely shines. The nose brings cinnamon, cooked agave, pepper, citrus, and a touch of minty vegetal notes. The palate is an agave punch with bright citrus and pepper and a thick, oily mouthfeel. The finish is light, warm, sweet, and spicy, rolling back into a satisfying high-proof heat. Overall, an excellent high-proof blanco that gets better with every minute in the glass. Bold, clean, and beautifully made.

La pulga 110 blanco Sipping out of a Riedel 3pm no food prior. I recommend letting this open, and the alcohol notes subside. Nose: cinnamon agave pepper citrus Palate: much like the nose - agave, citrus, pepper. Agave punch! Finish: light, warm, sweet and spicy. Starts slow and comes back around to a nice heat, as you expect from a high-proof tequila Overall: excellent expression.

Full bodied agave bomb. For 110 proof, it goes down so easy and smooth. It’s full of flavor - agave, herbs, candied ginger, pepper, and citrus zest. It’s fresh with a mid finish. One I can drink all night.

Such a well made HP. This one has to open up before sipping, have to let some of the alcohol blow off. After that, this blanco shines, citrus, pepper, cinnamon notes. It just gets better as it opens up.

Aroma: it definitely smells like 110 proof. I get a good bit of alcohol, cooked agave, lime, and brine. Taste: matches with the aroma perfectly. I also get a lot of pepper, light herbaceous notes like mint. Overall very well balanced. Definitely some heat as well but that’s to be expected. Light viscosity. Finish: medium length and peppery. Overall: not too bad at all. Not sure on the price as I got this through a swap but I would definitely drink it again.

Picked this one up through the Agave Swappers Facebook group. On the nose you get cooked agave, black pepper, and a touch of citrus. The palate is full of agave sweetness, minerality, and a light spice. It is surprisingly balanced considering the 110 proof.

Nice agave and mineral aroma. Very strong flavor, can tell it’s high proof. Fiery finish.
