La Pulga 110 Añejo Sipping out of a Riedel 4pm no food prior. I recommend letting this open to lessen the alcohol notes. Nose: very inviting. barrel spices, caramel vanilla, dried fruit and some alcohol Palate: caramel, baking spices, dried fruit Overall: the nose is my favorite part of this expression.

Substantial oak influence for just a few months in a barrel. It wouldn’t surprise me if the oak barrels used for this Reposado were virgin American oak. Feels a bit like the barrel influence is fighting the distillate. The nose was rather tame, some light caramels, brown sugars & some ground ginger. The palate had a substantial amount of wood spice, cinnamon, cardamom, clove and more ginger. The finish led with cooked agave, citrus, lime wedge, grass and pencil shavings. The higher ABV is appreciated and no doubt added to my enjoyment of the finish. I like this profile, but I fear the suspected virgin oak component is overpowering the nuance of the distillate.

Inviting aroma. The flavor profile is interesting and complex. Sweet honeydew melon, juicy caramelized agave, wet barrels, and lots of pepper+ baking spices. Very Long finish. Fantastic price point for a high proof aged tequila.

Sweet honey and cinnamon notes, some light cooking spices and dried fruit. Great value if you are looking for a HP repo

AgaveSwapper/FuerteFanatics/ETXTC Nose: very consistent with all Pulga - plum, stone fruit, figs, some heat, but not overpowering, faint barrel Palette: a little hot for sure, probably too hot overall, would like more balance, some heavier barrel, very dry Finish: very hot green pepper finish, lingers longer, but want that heat to fade a bit quicker

Got this through the Agave Swappers Facebook group, and it’s a standout value. La Pulga 110 Reposado brings bold agave and bright citrus on both the nose and palate, with just a slight touch of barrel influence. The high proof gives it great character and depth without overpowering the core flavors. Clean, vibrant, and well-balanced—definitely a sleeper pick for the price. This may be my new daily sipper, it's that good!
