The nose stays true to the Pulga profile—plum, stone fruit, figs, sweet honey, cinnamon, and caramelized agave with just a whisper of barrel influence. On the palate, it comes in hot, but in a way that works for a high-proof repo: honeydew melon, baked agave, light cooking spices, wet barrel, pepper, and subtle dried fruit. Complex, flavorful, and surprisingly layered. The finish is long, spicy, and green-pepper forward, lingering with warmth before slowly settling down. Overall, this is a fantastic high-proof reposado, great value, and a bottle that keeps opening up with every sip. Bold, fruity, spicy, and absolutely worth having on the shelf
