It took two to three nights of analyzing and some aeration to rate this fairly. The aroma leads with assertive salinity intertwined with early ethyl bite, followed by petrichor, cooked agave, and a wave of fresh grassiness. Spicy, assertive green vegetal notes (celery, green onion) rise prominently, supported by brine, lemon citrus, and a steady thread of pepperiness. On the palate, cooked agave arrives hand-in-hand with a bold, almost overpowering grassiness. Salinity, brine, and agave sweetness meet potent grassy–vegetal tones reminiscent of green onion, all carried on a crisp, fresh foundation. A warm, buttery toast note provides a soft counterpoint, but the experience is wrapped in an off-putting astringency that never fully relents. The finish continues with persistent salinity, grassy agave, and a clinging, nearly cloying brine: bready toast, lemon citrus, and a continually striking vegetal astringency. A polarizing profile initially, but with aeration, its strengths become more visible, even while the core character remains boldly vegetal and saline-forward. A distinct, memorable, and for my palate, challenging experience.

Excellent price point 100% pure agave tequila. Very approachable profile with all the elements a proper tequila should have. Great surprise for a tequila with a fun name.
