Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Carmel, Vanilla, Honey, Oak, Barrel Spice, Almond, Cinnamon Palate: Cinnamon, Jalapeño, Black Pepper, Toffee Finish: Carmel, Black Pepper, Almond, Cherry, Butter, Cream You never know what you're going to get with a single barrel pick. It seemed that this one was maybe a bit underhyped, in my opinion. The sweet aromas on the nose were true all the way to the Finish. Sweet, creamy notes with enough spice and pepper to also give it a bit of complexity. This is easy to drink but less easy to forget. Well done, PyroLou!

Nicely balanced single barrel with sweet cooked agave, lite caramel, spice, and some oak on the finish.

this is a very easy sipper. the nose is amazing. its my favorite part about this expression. but thats not to diminish the flavor, finish and texture, which are all very good. caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, barrel spices, pepper, and the agave still shines through with a nice dry, warm spicy finish. it goes down very easily. and the process is very reasonable, considering its a single barrel repo

This 7 months aged Reposado has pleasantly surprised me with how the French oak barrel notes mashed the taste and finish of this single barrel edition. Cooked agave with perfect blend of semi-sweet and semi-woody taste. Cream texture of the finish was lightly noticeable and hint of dried apricots. A blend of baking spice comes out when this expression opens up. Make sure you use quality sipping vessel. Overall it’s great Reposado for sipping and anyone venturing into additive free tequilas. Sadly, this is a limited run and won’t be replicated. Grab em while it’s available.

Tried at Sabor Y Cultura Chicago. Nicely done tequila with some sweetness from the french oak. Barrel spice and carmel is delicious.

Very nice, get the cognac and peppery finish and then the classic repo flavors

Balanced tequila through and through. The French barrels lend just the right amount of sweetness and spice to pair with the cooked agave while keeping the traditional agave profile intact with the higher percentage.
