Nice and earthy nose. Sweet agave, mint, floral, minerality. Beautiful agave, pepper, anise, minerality, funky, nice tequila. The initial mouthfeel is nice. Fades quickly.
Nose: bright bold agave, cinnamon/baking spice, sweet & spice, everything nice, Pallet is sweet spicy agave! Very nice, cinnamon coats mouth, spicy numbness in a good way. Good long finish, nice mouthfeel, quality high proof
Let this open up and enjoy the journey! Rich mouthfeel, and sweet cooked agave that fades with a little cinnamon (which I love!). This is best for sipping, but will shine in a cocktail. I’m loving Manuscrito!
Fantastic!
Nose: Earthy and grounded with a mix of cooked and raw agave. Vegetal notes run deep, supported by a clean minerality. Jalapeño and black pepper bring sharpness, while citrus adds brightness to the background. Palate & Mouthfeel: Full, round, and immediately drying. There’s a strong tannic grip comes from the fiber fermentation - it’s almost mouth coating in its pull. Sweet agave is present but edged by black pepper, salted butter, citrus and a lactic creaminess. Cinnamon and raw vegetal notes layer in, followed by chili pepper and a touch of coffee bean that adds depth. Finish: Long and gripping. Cinnamon, chili pepper, and a faint trace of coffee bean linger with quiet persistence. Final Thoughts: Wow - this one stands out for just how tannic and structured the palate is. The dryness pushes the edge of what I’d want, but it’s a small tradeoff for such a detailed, well built tequila. I slightly prefer Chapter One, but only just, and both are top tier.
Vessel: CT HP Jarrito Nose: Agave, Minerality, Anise, Fruit, Chamomile Palate:Jalapeno Pepper, Earth, Minerality Finish: Earth, Agave, Minerality, Thyme Wow! This brand came out of nowhere and frankly, the community is not ready for what they bring to the table. This Manuscrito HP is unquestionably in my conversation for top 12 or so high proof Blancos.
Manuscrito Chapter 2 high proof Sample from Matt C 51 Abv I love the nose = minerality, vegetal, anise and a little alcohol but not a lot for a h.p. Palate is sweetest cooked agave, brown sugar, minerality, mild anise, some berries? My favorite profile
Have to say, I tried this side by side with their high proof two separate days. My first impression was I preferred the 42 ABV over the high proof, the next day I preferred the high proof. That’s how close these two are. Well made, great nose, pepper, citrus, minerality, nice finish
Drinks easier than the 51.55%. Rustic earthy vibes. Very nice. Nice value too (bought mine for $55).
Wow, this is so easy to drink. A delicious HP. Solid palate and a nice long finish to it. Finally sitting down with a bottle and I am happy to nose this over and over. Finish goes on for days. It’s high marks from me.
I refused to download this app for years but I recently visited El Sabino distillery and felt compelled to rate this amazing tequila. Suave, traditionally made tequila that reminds me of the best tequila’s of the past (think original El Tesoro recipe). Bright Cooked agave, cinnamon, citrus, baking spice, bell pepper, and so much more. I invite you to savor this tequila if you get the chance. ¡Salud!
Agave and sweet mint on the nose. More agave up front with jalapeño and cheese on the pallet. Long finish with a nice burn on the back end. The lactic funk all over this one is really pleasing to me. Stellar pour, Bravo!
sweet agave peppermint, that fresh cool mint breeze/hot . is a punch of the sweet agave, mint and pepper, mayb some jalapeño and that lactid from el sabino for sure. strong heat burn
Nose: Agave punch with a lacto gunk hint. follows hard with more cooked agave, mint, minarality and citrus, with a pepper hint Palate: Roast agave sweetness, with hints of baking spices and citrus, giving way to pepper, black, but also hints of Jalapenos, all with an every so slight cheese funk. Finish: Pepper, agave and cheese funk linger, with underlying roast agave sweetness. tried to be as objective as possible, but think my score overestimated how much I really like this bottle. and "cheese funk" is really not my thing.
This high proof is one hell of a tequila it drinks so good its almost dangerous. The sweet cooked agave, citrus notes, cinnamon and just a touch of green grass. Great Viscosity this tequila stays on your palate for awhile and begs you to drink more. I can't wait until it is more readily available.
L750MTB10001, tasted on 7-25-25. Aroma: raw agave, light acidity, hint of herbaceousness, light minerality, light spiciness, reminds me of El Ateo. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, mineral note is more pronounced on the palate. Light pepper spiciness. Thick mouthfeel. Finish is medium to long, light raw agave, mineral and herbaceous with light pepper spiciness and a tad of sweetness persists.
Had a nice pour at Sabor Y Cultura Chicago right after the regular blanco. Very delicious with agave and minerals. This is going to be a fantastic brand

Lloyd of agave cinnamon pepper and citrus with hints of jalapeno and lime. A definite add to the list if you like flavorful high proof tequila.
