NOM 1438 | This one is DIFFERENT. Off the initial nose impression. It reminds me of a potent smelling butterscotch which in my opinion is not my forte. I’m not one to really like the sweeter flavored alcohols HOWEVER if that is something you like then this one is for you. On the nose it smells like a sweet and savory vanilla. The taste is interesting, oak and agave on the tongue but then met with a lingering sweet taste of caramel and vanilla for that lingering tingle. Smooth to sip on. I’m not aware if it is additive free as it was something new in the store and haven’t heard much of besides it being veteran owned. If you’re someone who adores the agave flavor then this one isn’t for you. If you are a sweet liquor drinker transitioning into tequila this one is definitely for you. The bottle here in PA was 60$
