NOM 1414, Viva México 20 year old 30th anniversary 51% abv. version. "Edición Limitada de 30 aniversario con 20 años de barrica, símbolo de excelencia en tequila ultra premium desde 1994". Lote: L-014, started maturation and filled on the 30th of November year 2000 in an ex-Jack Daniel’s American oak cask at 43.2% abv., stopped maturation & taken out of the barrel on the 7th of April 2021. Lote: VMEXAÑE24130, bottled on 07-09-2024. Offered on their 30th anniversary celebration party on the 7th of September 2024. I am very honored, and a special thanks to Don Sergio Vivanco for his invitation to their 30th anniversary celebration party, wish you the best and continued success!! Color: golden yellow. Aroma: sweet cooked agave! Camphor wood, light minerality, light sweet wood note, hint of mint keeps this tequila fresh, hint of caramel, hint of vanilla, hint of acidity, hint of butterscotch, light fruitiness, hint of citrus, hint of orange and light orange blossom note. Hint of white grape-y note. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, menthol, orange blossom note through my retronasal. Thick & oily mouthfeel. Finish is medium to long, hint of sweet cooked agave, light sweet wood note, light camphor wood, light grape-y note, hint of vanilla, light fruitiness, light orange and orange blossom note persists.
