For this roundup of the best high-ABV offerings, we considered those with an alcohol content of 46 percent or more.
I have a bottle of the new tahona Blanco so I wasn't sure what to expect. Aroma of cooked agave, alcohol (no surprise at 54% abv) citrus, minerals and anise. Flavor - the alcohol hit was unexpected, in a good way, cooked agave, black pepper, cinnamon and minerals. Finish is long and mellows out
