Another amazing product from Vivanco NOM 1414. Thank you tequila diva for the sample
absolutely stunning so freaking delicious and easy to drink.. be careful or the bottle will be gone
Totally different than the Tahona, but still amazing. That high proof is sweet, anise, and mint notes. Another winner
At first the alcohol hides the agave but it doesn’t take long to settle down and open up. This Blanco carries the smell and taste from the Madera. A bit lighter on the agave than I expected but a nice citrus, white pepper, clove and cinnamon. The cooked agave brings out some light notes of caramel and vanillin but you have to search for it. A bit hot on first taste but then the heat fades as my palate gets used to it, has a nice medium finish with a little bittersweet tannin. Really enjoying this one!
Another great product from Sergio and 1414.
Good but I prefer the Tahona
Very nice nose. Sweet agave, grapes, fruits, bubble gum, vanilla. Floral. On the palate. Nice sweet agave. Fruity, honey, grape, cinnamon and citrus Very nice finish. Long lasting. Good mouthfeel.
tasted side by side with the Tahona, which I vastly preferred. this is clearly well made. nice cedar/wood influence. earthy, sweet, vegetal. thin mouthfeel with a bit too much ethanol on the nose and palate for my personal preference. unique.
This has to be Sergio Cruz best creation. No doubt my favorite NOM 1414 tequila. Wood Fermentation (Madera) and a high proof Blanco. An amazing blanco, a backup bottle is needed.
Amazing product from nom 1414! Lots of flavor with cooked agave front and center! Must try!
Being a fan of wood fermentation this high proof Blanco hits all the notes. Anise, Mint, citrus. It starts a bit hot but ends up sweet and delicious.
Agave earth some hints of floral on the nose but the taste is killer to me. This is my top blanco/hp of 2025 and I need more Lolol!
Was fortunate enough to be gifted a 375ml bottle by Sergio himself at the Viva Mexico distillery in 9/2024. Bottle #497/500. Awesome nose of agave with a great impact on both the smell and taste from the Madera. Tons of agave along with minerals, citrus, pepper, and some cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. Does not drink like 54%. Nice finish that stays.
This Madera is really good on the nose I get cooked agave right up front with a little fruity notes and a touch of honey on the palate I get the sweet cooked agave front and center with Cinnamon, honey, citrus and a touch of fruity notes. The finish is long oily with the honey notes staying in your mouth and tongue for awhile.

Viva Mexico Blanco madera 54abv Fermented in wooden tanks Vegetal nose neck pour Sweet agave spice/fizz Anise, a little gin-like ? Pine-ish Really liking this. It's excellent. Want to revisit when it opens up a little, since this was a neck pour. Revisited after a few weeks Nose: anise pepper, a little alcohol and some pine?!? With the fruit you typically get from 1414. Palate: Wow! Agave anise and the madera is there! Finish: there's a spicy kick/zing on the tongue I'm liking this! A lot! and the value is there!
