All around ok to good. Aroma is the best part with agave and minerals with a hint of sweetness. Taste and finish are both ok with nothing offensive but not much else stands out. Clean, simple and cheap. Maybe good for mixing.
Way too much coffee/hazelnut on this one, I lost all agave and didn’t even get much barrel. Very dark and would be shocked if it’s additive free. For the price, I’d have to recommend something else. I was hoping for more from this one after seeing the reviews.
The aroma is rich, boozy vanilla and heavy oak lead, followed by citrus, soft fruit, and a buttery oatmeal undertone. On the palate, expectantly, saturated oak with thick caramel dominate, layered with cinnamon, cherry and an hazelnut tone that permeates the palate. Vanilla is the backbone, with a buttery texture and fading orange citrus lingering toward the close. The finish leaves a zesty plum note peeking through the fading oaky caramel which I found appealing.
