“On the nose it reminds me of a tawny port but more complex: nutty, sweet, fruity To the taste, it is initially sweet yet complex with just the right amount of bite. It has a pleasantly bitter, chocolate-like finish. It is great for sipping. I'm excited for the rest of the bottle, and to try more from NOM 1146”

“Strong caramel taste up front - almost suspiciously strong. Fairly smooth finish, but very sweet and lingering with a taste reminding me of aspartame. The price makes it very hard to recommend”
