Very citrusy to me and peppery. Vanilla,Caramel,Agave,Citrus. Agave and Alcohol smell. Not off putting to my palate, I would like to try the Reposado.

Not much on the nose, all I get is earth and some citrus. It has a nice mouth feel, the flavor has white pepper, citrus, and cinnamon. The finish starts with cooked agave moves to pepper and ends with some sweetness. This is an easy Tequila to sip. I would struggle trying to pair this with food.

Spicy white pepper with a big alcohol tongue numbing. Might be too much for some, but all the elements are in harmony with each other to the finish which is a couple minutes long. Big, bold, spicy blanco from NOM 1107. I like it.

Aroma of faint cinnamon. Finish is a little rough, but not bad. Has a nice mouth feel.

Aroma of dirt, cooked agave and fairly bold citrus. Upfront, the flavor has a peppery spice with the clean citrus following. Medium finish with a little lingering heat. Overall, this is fine. Nothing significant or noticeable in the aroma, flavor or finish. Updated 06-15-2026

Sweet cooked agave on the nose, but also a lot of alcohol and a fairly strong solvent note (lighter fluid). Dry, short entry which quickly coats entire tongue. Good agave flavor, mildly bitter and peppery. Nice finish, spicy but not overly so, and it lingers a bit. The biggest weakness is the weak entry, and it's overpriced in my mind.

Dry on the palate with pear fruitiness. Alcohol-heavy taste and finish. Ok to try once.

A slight citrus smell of grapefruit. Smooth taste with minimal amount of burn. Finish did not last very long.

Review #230 - Campeon Tequila Blanco

My first try of anything from the Campeon line. I've always liked the bottles and heard some solid things, but it's kind of hard to find or the price is always higher than it seems it should be.
