Grover and Scarlet of TasteTequila.com review Casamigos blano and reposado.
NOM 1609 | Bottle: Numero 23022, L321301001, 238 14:21 Appearance: Clear Nose: Vanilla, cake batter, artificial sweetener, rubbing alcohol, cream soda, raisin, citrus, lime, orange, marshmallow fluff, and faint cooked agave…the additives are readily apparent Palate: Vanilla, alcohol, astringent, artificial sweetener, cake batter, marshmallow fluff, medicinal, graham cracker, black pepper, almond, raisin, cinnamon, cream soda, and fake fruit…more similar to flavored vodka than traditional tequila Finish: Vanilla, medicinal, cake batter, and alcohol…too short, far too sweet, and unnaturally thick viscosity Overall: This was sickeningly sweet and difficult to drink. The sweetness was medicinal, though, and reminded me a lot of the aspartame in a poorly-mixed off-brand gas station diet cola. The vanilla was very heavy and tasted more similar to synthetic vanilla flavor than to a vanilla extract. I’m glad I tried it, but will not be buying this again.
