Nom 1079 - 38% abv Nose: Roasted agave, fruity, vanilla, caramel, earthy, mineral, light oak and alcohol/ethanol. Palate: same as nose with added barrel tannins, pepper, and an oaky finish. This one is great! If you run into one, do yourself a favor, and buy it.

Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: 072015, bottled on 23-07-2015 by Destiladora el Paraíso S.A. de C.V., NOM 1580, which is currently owned by Hacienda El Olvido S.A. de C.V. Tasted on 8-11-24. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, light vanilla, light earthiness, light acidity, minerality, light pepper spiciness. Creamy. After 20 minutes in the glass a light unnatural sweetness emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, quite sweet on the palate, however at the end the sweetness seems slightly unnatural and ends a tad bitter. Finish is medium, light vanilla, hint of cooked agave with light unnatural sweetness persists.
