Nose: Fruity with spice and some oak. Flavor: Over the top sweet. A saccharine sweetness that obscures the hints of pepper and whiskey barreling. Not a good aftertaste.

Don Cayo Extra Anjeo is an affordable ($87 @ Sip Tequila) expression aimed at those who prefer overly sweet Tequila. I can see sipping this as an after supper drink with desert. I prefer the reposado over the XA. This is not my cup of tea.

oak barrel start, vanilla aroma, velvet smooth on the tongue, delightful even after the sip is gone.

While in Cabo on vacation went into a very small tequila boutique by recommendation , met a very nice and knowledgeable man , JP Becerra , all high end tequila alot only to be found in Mexico , drank several very nice tequilas , this tequila has a very nice aroma very smooth and sweet on the nose , does not disappoint when drinking , just a hint of sweetness with notes of fruit and honey , extremely smooth with a great finish , I highly recommend going to spend some time with JP and trying a few hard to find tequilas .
