Mexican 40% abv. version, LOTE 041206, ENV 140507, I guess it was left to rest for a little bit over 5 months before being bottled, tasted on 10-2-24. Aroma: light cooked agave, hint of raw agave, hint of brine, slightly herbaceous, light pepper spiciness, hint of anise, after 20 minutes the light cooked agave becomes slightly sweet. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, although it is a tad briny, however, it does not cover up other aromas and flavors and is quite balanced with light cooked agave with a hint of sweetness standing out. Ends a tad dry. Slightly spicy. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, hint of briny raw agave, hint of anise with herbaceous notes persist.
