Aroma is alcohol and agave and light pepper. This leads to spice and agave with a light oilyness with the mouthfeel. It finishes with an alcohol burn and tingle. This drinks like a lower level blanco. There is nothing to indicate any significant amount of ageing or the use of nice barrelling technique. It gets better after it burns/numbs your taste buds. Not Jose Cuervo bad, just mediocre. Actually much better than JC. The bottle I have says 2016. Someone is dumping product.
