Long Island Lou created a video review of the Don Sueños Tequila lineup.
Don Sueños Tequilas are produced at Casa Tequilera de Arandas- NOM 1499 in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco. Tre and Kumiko Zimmerman are the owners, and they have Jose Aceves, a fantastic Master Distiller overseeing it all.
Aroma : Cooked agave, caramel, honey, and vanilla. Taste : Agave, oak, caramel and honey. This has a very bourbon-sweet profile. The texture is "smooth" and fair bodied. Finish : Medium length with more honey, also some floral notes. This is an interesting one. The flavor is a bit sweet, but not in a sickly sweet additive way. This would be nice to have every once in a while as a dessert tequila.
