Simple profile but friendly Notes of raw agave, vanilla, caramel, spices, a bit earthy and barrel spice notes. Great for mixing and accesible price
Solid Añejo from Las Juntas NOM 1500 that adds nicely to the whole Monte Fino line of Blanco, Rosa Blanco, Reposado and this Añejo. Have yet to find the XA but the other 4 are around 140 plus shipping from Old Town making a nice pickup with the ever escalating prices. Sorry for the monologe and no tasting notes. Very easy on the palate on entry this has a nice nose of oak and agave and some natural sweetness. The cold filtering again softens the finish and I think is most apparent in the Reposado and Anejo. Still a tasty pour.

Aroma is dominated by baking spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) with an interesting (not sure if it’s interesting good or interesting bad) note of clay/putty. Nice flavor with a spicy sweetness that really lingers. Medium-long finish. 2023-12-23
