“Blind Taste Tested Aroma- Unique, almost smells rested, earthy with notes of thyme, faint hint of allspice, a melon sweetness Flavor- Weird, but totally mimics the aroma and I like it (earthy, thyme, allspice) Finish- again it follows the profile of earthyness, thyme, and all spice, but in the finish anis comes through Overall- This one is quirky and solid through and through. ”

“Aroma- very vanilla and cinnamon, quite different than the blanco, no agave Taste- To me this tastes like it has additives, especially vanilla, the agave is completely hidden Finish- Not natural vanilla Overall- Disappointing compared to the blanco, perhaps they are different noms, we did not record the nom before tasting. ”

“Aroma- Spicy baked apple with all spice and cloves, not much for agave, sharp aromas though Flavor- Mimics the aroma which is good, but I wish there was more agave in there. Finish- Most of the aroma and flavor dissipate and you are left with a short bitey finish with quite a bit of anise. ”

“Blind taste test Aroma- sharp and clean, green apple, not very complex Flavor- Interesting with more happening than the aroma. Agave, apple, and a bit of baking on spice. Finish- dry and flat, green apple and a sprinkle of cinnamon, sour at first, but that improves Overall- Not worth the price point”

“Blind taste test Aroma- Trends much more towards añejo with light butterscotch and hints of caramel. Underneath there is a tiny hint of minerality, vegetalness, and agave. Flavor- Starts with caramel agave and then you get a lot of wood with a hint of cinnamon. Finish- Bitterness overwhelmed the finish. Very woody agave with caramel coming through at the end. Overall- Not my favorite which was a bit of a surprise as I really enjoy the blanco. ”
