Tequila Honey Badger
Mexican 38% abv. version, LOTE VMREP2173, marbete is from 2018, tasted on 1-21-24. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, light acidity, sweet agave fibers, light vanilla, caramel, slightly earthy & herbaceous. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance, aromas and flavors are present but feel slightly subtle. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave, slightly earthy and herbaceous, light caramel & acidic notes persist.
Tried in Arandas Jalisco 9/10/24. Whats not to like with this one? Light and consistent as anything from 1414 always is. Agave forward. Crisp and clean with citrus and minerality.
