On the nose — I get sweet cooked agave, a touch of floral citrus, some toasted oak, and that faint hint of sake yeast fruitiness — almost like a soft pear note. First sip — wow, that balance hits right away. You’ve got vanilla and caramel from the oak, but it’s not heavy. There’s this light honey sweetness, warm baking spice, and agave freshness that makes it super drinkable. That sake yeast fermentation gives it a really unique, silky texture — it’s elegant, not syrupy. The finish is smooth but lively — a little pepper, some oak spice, and a clean fade that makes you want another sip.

Vessel: CT Jarrito Nose: Butter, Almond, Cooked Agave, VERY Faint Vegetal aroma. Palate: Almond, Vanilla, Cooked Agave, Faint Toffee Finish: Almond Vanilla, Cooked Agave, Cinnamon Delicious! I enjoyed this more than the Blanco but they were both great! This one is a keeper!

Nose: Roasted agave carries through with vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. A light floral lift and hint of citrus keep it bright. Palate & Mouthfeel: Rounded and smooth, with agave sweetness at the core. Oak, vanilla, and caramel unfold alongside subtle fruit and floral notes, with a touch of pepper adding structure. Finish: Moderately long, leaving oak, vanilla, and sweet agave with a gentle spice. Clean and balanced. Final Thoughts: Rimari Reposado strikes a nice middle ground - agave stays present, the oak influence adds depth, and the fermentation lends nuance. Approachable, layered, and easy to enjoy neat.

Nose: Light notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and caramel, with a hint of oak. Palate: Smooth and balanced with sweet agave, vanilla, and light caramel. Medium body and easy to sip. Finish: Soft and clean with a touch of oak and caramel lingering briefly. A simple, well-balanced reposado that highlights sweet agave with just enough oak influence to add depth without overpowering it. Provided by the Agave Swappers Facebook Group

Sample via Agave Swappers Nose: cooked agave, roasted marshmallows, butterscotch Taste: cooked agave, butterscotch, oily mouth feel, the finally a bit of oak Finish: sweet finish that gives way to black pepper. Overall: This one is really nice and sweet, especially on the nose. I don't pick up a lot of barrel on this one, so if you're into a very agave forward Reposado, this should fit the bill nicely.

Received a sample from Agave Swappers. Aroma: agave and the lightest barrel notes, like cinnamon and maybe some honey. Taste: matches the aroma nicely. Probably the slightest kick of pepper I’ve ever had from a tequila. It’s light and refreshing. Finish: short and sweet.
