On the nose — I get sweet cooked agave, a touch of floral citrus, some toasted oak, and that faint hint of sake yeast fruitiness — almost like a soft pear note. First sip — wow, that balance hits right away. You’ve got vanilla and caramel from the oak, but it’s not heavy. There’s this light honey sweetness, warm baking spice, and agave freshness that makes it super drinkable. That sake yeast fermentation gives it a really unique, silky texture — it’s elegant, not syrupy. The finish is smooth but lively — a little pepper, some oak spice, and a clean fade that makes you want another sip.
Nice sipper, what you'd expect out of 1414, the sake give it nice note, faint but there. All in all its sweet agave, nice pepper notes, good value in $40-50 range.
