Nose: oak, spices, sweet caramel, light nutty and vanilla notes Taste: Oak, baking spices, caramel, toffee, almond, and still some light green agave notes come through towards the end Finish: long finish with nutty notes, spices and oak on the tongue. As you’d expect, the barrel is dominant after 5 years but there is still some agave flavor to be found and as a whole it is a nice and well rounded flavor. I appreciate the higher 43% ABV. Value is incredible. 5 year Extra Añejo for just over $70. You don’t find that often.
