El caballo Estrella NOM 1438 Lote CBN 030 01/09/11 Sample from junior zander Nose is decent. Palate subdued, with pepper and yeast. Finish some bitterness and solvent. don't love finish Glencairn 4pm an hour after arroz con pollo
Lote: canen 076. 4/12/2017 Caramel, choc and butterscotch and black pepper finish. Aroma is deceivingly boring until first sip. Then you can identify heavy cooked agave, vanilla and butterscotch.
This is actually a not bad product from a NOM that produces around 80 brands with a lot and I mean a lot of reposados released. This ticks some boxes such as, not bitter, not overly sweet and balance between oak and agave. Thanks MB
fruit, agave ,pepper ,earth. baked agave , semi sweet ,pepper oily smooth big agave finish very good blanco! tremulous value @ $15
Nose: Fresh and bright, with clean agave leading the way. Mint, lime, and a touch of pineapple bring a crisp, tropical lift that feels lively and classic. Palate & Mouthfeel: Thin yet slightly oily in texture. Sweet agave comes through first but quickly gives way to a mild bitterness. Black pepper and a trace of tropical fruit follow, joined by mint, though the balance feels off as it develops. Finish: Short and unmemorable, tapering into light bitterness without much flavor carryover. Final Thoughts: It starts on a high note with a promising nose, but the palate never quite delivers on that freshness. After the initial agave hit, it turns flat and bitter, closing out with a finish that disappears too quickly.
