El Diamante del Cielo Reposado On the nose I detect some light sweet agave and then some orange zest and virgin white oak. I taste agave and honey up front and then some orange bitters on the mid pallet and on the back end i get the oak. The finish is sweet and then turns to pepper. I’m no bartender but I think this repo would do well in a cocktail. I’d like more of a nose but the flavors are good.

Another NOM 1472 rating. Fairly one note in it's presentation this is very bourbon influenced and while not overly sweet it also has little character than the bourbon.

Aroma is sweet with notes of cooked agave, flowers and citrus fruit. There is also a slightly briny, funk underneath also. Flavor begins very sweet then shows a bit of spice but dissipates fairly quickly and leaves a slight bitter aftertaste. The finish is short to non-existent. 11-18-2017

Would be good for cocktails. Not smooth, but good taste.
