On the nose I’m getting a vegetal pepper aroma with dry oak barrel spices and some wood tannins. It’s earthy and vegetal. I taste earthy cooked agave and the dry barrel spices. The agave tastes caramelized and the barrel spices are dry and earthy. The finish has some sweetness and the barrel spices come in dry with a touch of bitterness Overall the agave sweetness brings a caramel note. The agave is earthy and the barrels are spicy. The wood tannins are dry. This make a caramel, earthy, and spicy Añejo.
