In the glass, a soft amber glows, medium and warm as evening slows. Cooked agave rises first in air, then caramel, oak and citrus flair. On the tongue, black pepper speaks, with honey, fruit and oak that lingers and peaks. A pleasant finish, smooth and long, a gentle close to a spirited song. This añejo is a lovely tribute to the namesake Don Julio Gonzalez. Too bad it's only available in Mexico.
