“I am typically a blanco purist but tried this tequila as it was highly recommended. The aroma was strong with agave and had a surprising citrus component to it as well which helped build my anticipation. Up front the tequila is solid with agave flavoring I expected a very woody finish given it being anejo but the woodiness was not overwhelming. The finish was smooth and there's no linger. I detected hints of caramel and vanilla that worked well with the slight woody character. ”

“Solid tequila with an agave presence that is sweet and bright with pepperiness. The finish is above average but not smooth enough to enjoy straight. At the price it goes well in a cocktail. ”

“Not a sipping tequila but has a decent agave character that is sweet and makes a strong presence. Rough finish. Goes great in cocktails. ”

“Bought this as a cheap tequila for mixing. Up front it is very peppery without much of an agave punch and lacking sweetness. The finish is strong in alcohol that unpleasantly lingers. ”

“This is a superb tequila. Up front the agave is pleasantly paired with a subtle pepper flavor that is balanced perfectly with the sweet agave flavor. It washes through in a very smooth finish making this one of the best sipping tequilas I have tasted. ”

“Surprisingly better than the pricier barrel select from Milagro. This tequila has more complexity up front with a sweetness that doesn't mask the agave. The finish is a bit harsher than the barrel select making this a great tequila in a Paloma or handmade margarita. ”

“This tequila comes across as over-distilled. It has a moderate agave taste up front but lacks any other complexity. It does have a nice finish and doesn't linger but I enjoy the more complex flavors in the silver (as well as the price). ”

“Delicious sweetness up front that envelopes a bold agave flavor. The finish is smooth and very clean. ”
