“This tequila does not taste very sweet to me. I’m getting smoky flavor on the nose fairly heavy and a nice agave aftertaste. Maybe a little overpriced for my taste but I may buy again. Worth a try if you like smoky agave with a bit of a mezcal, minus the Michelin tire, aftertaste. I will say I came back and increased my rating a bit after having a few shots which I never do. The initial taste is a bit rough but what tequila isn’t. My favorite thing about this tequila is the taste actually improves as you become accustomed to it. The flavor evolves a bit as you drink. Worth a second drink and a third ;)”

“This tequila separates the men from the boys. Love it or hate it you will taste the truth for yourself. All jokes aside this tequila does have a nice burn and aftertaste. Notes of vanilla, buttery and flavor like many rested tequilas. As a reposado it is smooth but not surprisingly. It is a great tequila for your shelf whether it be a mixer or for shots. A fanciful tequila it is not, this is a reposado at its most basic and refined and in an environment of extraordinary tequilas that both baffle and horrify the senses you will be pleasantly satisfied and satiated with this dependable and delicious tequila.”

“I’m not someone who has tried very many high class tequilas but for the money I think I would have picked something else unless you are partial to a very smooth buttery tequila. I know anejos are smooth I just like the tequila taste and this was lacking the bite I am used to compared to other anejos and reposados. Very nice finish and drinkable without a chaser.”
